Recipe: Mixed Berry & Banana Smoothie Bowl

A quick an easy breakfast option for those hot summer mornings or even a perfect mid afternoon snack. We also have frozen bananas in our fridge at home. They are the perfect addition to any smoothie as a thickener with some natural sweetness.
Ingredients:
2 frozen bananas
1 cup of frozen mixed berries
1 cup of milk of your choice (my preference is oat)
100g of granola
Fresh blueberries, strawberries and/or banana
Flaked coconut
Sprinkle of chia seeds
Method:
Step 1
In a blender, combine frozen bananas, mixed berries and milk until thick and well blended.
Step 2
Thinly slice fresh banana and/or strawberries.
Step 3
Divide the smoothie mixture evenly between 2 bowls. Arrange your fresh fruit, granola, coconut flakes and chia seeds in even rows on top of your smoothie.
